Response: Vikings OT McKinnie off NFC Pro Bowl team after missing practices

Even though Bryant let the trainer know he wasn't going to play he could've atleast showed up and let the trainer look at him and see how bad he was. He also should have let the team know rather then just stay home and let the trainer know. If I was him I probably would've suck it up and gone to the practices because it was his first time being selected for the pro bowl so he should have taken the oppurtunity because it would have been a good experience for him.

Notes: Vikings OT McKinnie off NFC Pro Bowl team after missing practices

Vikings offesnive tackle Bryant McKinnie was dismissed from he NFC Pro Bowl because he missed 2 practices in a row. He is also subject to a fine. He said he missed the practices ebcause he was hurt. He had bad pains in his foot and he wasn't sure if he wanted to play or not so he decided not to. He told his agent and he called the trainer. The trainer called Bryant and he described the pain he was having, he never actually met up with the trainer though. A league official told them that Bryant missed 4 out of 5 practices.

Response: Another Favre Season Could Put All-Time Records Out of Manning's Reach

I think that if Favre does decide to come back it will be a problem for Manning because he is trying to make it to the top and he won't be able to if Favre comes back because then his records will be even harder to beat. I'm not sure if it will be possible at all for Manning to get close to Favres' records because at this pace Manning will be playing when he's 40 still trying to be the best. I don't know the average year that players retire but at 40 they start to get a little less active and stuff. So if Favre stays another year it will be a whole different story as to whether Manning ever reaches Favres all time records.

Notes: another Favre season Could Put All-Time Records out of Manning's reach.

If Brett Favre decides to come back another year it will be almost impossible for Manning to beat him in all time records. The more Favre plays the longer it will take Manning to catch up to him. If Favre retires this year Manning will have a jump start to catch up to his records. at this rate it will take Manning 7 seasons to reach Favres stats. If Favre comes back it means that Manning will need to play untill he is 40. One record that will be hard to break in the most consecutive games played, if Manning continues to play it will take him almost 6 seasons to reach the ammount Favre has, but if Favre comes back it will add another season on to Mannings destination.

Notes: Will Brett Favre Retire in 2010

Brett Favre is one of the NFL's all time greats and has set many records in his 19 year career. The biggest question this Vikings off season is, "Will Brett Favre return for another season?" The Vikings have not given Brett Favre a deadline to when he has to make his decision to comeback or not, but are giving him plenty of time to make his decision free of any pressure. The end of this past season was disastrous for Favre after throwing an interception at the end of the NFC Championship Game, causing them to lose the game. Brett took a beating in that game, breaking his ankle and bruising his ribs, but he stayed in the game displaying the toughness he has shown throughout his entire career. So hopefully for the Vikings, Brett Favre will return.

Response: 2010 NFL Draft Team Needs: Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings had a very weak pass defense last year and I think it would be good for the team if they went and drafted a few good corner backs which would help add some youth and depth behind the teams veteran players. It will be very hard for the Vikings to replace such a dominate player like Pat Williams, but there is a massive 365 lbl. defensive tackle from Oklahoma which would be a very good replacement for Williams. Many players on the Vikings are getting up in age and are starting to slow down in performing consistently, so it would be good for the team to sign some young players that they could help develop for a few years behind their veterans.

Notes: 2010 NFL Draft Team Needs: Minnesota Vikings

Many of the players on the Vikings are getting old and the team needs to start looking into signing and drafting some young talented players. There are a few different directions the team could take going into the drafting, depending on the return of Brett Favre and standout defensive tackle Pat Williams. If Favre does decide to "retire" again then the Vikings will look into drafting a quarterback early in the draft. But if Favre stays and Pat Williams decides to retire then they will draft another big defensive tackel. But one area the team really needs to improve is their secondary. The Vikings were picked apart by the pass and need to really look drafting one or two cornerbacks to help solidify their secondary.
